Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide the highest degree of service to our community by encompassing community policing with proactive enforcement so that we can provide a safe and secure environment for our citizens to live in.

The Village of Middlefield offers full police services to its residents including routine patrol, traffic enforcement, detective services, community relations and other specialized functions. Our chief and 11 officers value the opportunity to provide police services that are fair, courteous and responsive.

Middlefield Village has the distinction of being one of northeast Ohio's safest communities. Our Village is uniquely recognized as an inviting, friendly, welcoming community with a unique Amish population. Middlefield Village's police officers are held to a high standard and strive to uphold the highest ethical ideals.

The Village provides exceptional police coverage 24/7, every day of the year. A primary focus remains the prevention of crime and policing the streets. We view the residents of our community as partners who deserve our care, concern and attention.
