SUMMARY:Merry Middlefield - Pancake Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:East Geauga Kiwanis Club is giving the Pancake Breakfast for Merry Middlefield December 11th from 8am to 1 pm. \n  \nOther Events for the Day: \n9am-1pm Craft Show  \nStop in at the Craft Show during the Pancake Breakfast in the High School\, too.  Merry Middlefield Craft Show is at Cardinal High School in the hallways\, during the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and visit with the Grinch. All held in Cardinal High School multi purpose room area \n11am Grinch Book Signing  \nYou can meet the Grinch\, and Max and Cindy Lou at 11 am in the Multi Purpose Room\, at the stage. The Grinch will sign his book for you\, while the supply of his books last. \n6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Merry Middlefield inside Great Lakes Outdoor Supply   \nCome to Great Lakes Outdoor Supply starting at 6:00 pm\, The Grinch will arrive and give his dramatic performance from the balcony inside the store. Max and Cindy Lou will be there too. Santa will arrive later this evening. Abundant Life Church of God will serve cookies and hot cocoa in the entryway. Debbie Kaser will provide guitar music from 6:00 pm until the Grinch begins his performance. Watch for special activities in the stores and businesses in Middlefield today\, all day\, to celebrate the Christmas Season and Middlefield. SUMMARY:Community Tree Lighting
DESCRIPTION:Mayor Garlich and Village Council invite members of the Middlefield Village Community to place an ornament on this year’s new addition to the annual holiday tree lighting event.  The Village will provide a Christmas tree that represents the Village of Middlefield where “Where Families Grow Strong”. \nThe Mayor and Council ask that each household in the Village\, if they choose\, to bring an ornament to hang on the tree that represents their family/household. The kickoff to the community tree decorating will be at the Annual Tree lighting ceremony\, \nwhich will be held 11/26/21 at 7pm.  Members from the Cardinal High School Cardinaires will provide wonderful entertainment for attendees.  University Hospitals will also provide hot chocolate to those in attendance. \nAfter the tree is lit make sure to look to listen for jiggle bells as Santa will be stopping by and will have a special gift for village children. \nThe Village hopes that this event will continue to create a strong sense of community as we move into the 2021 Holiday Season. \nRemember to shop local this Holiday Season.
