MHS – Festival of Trees
2018 Festival of Trees
Middlefield Historical Society is once again inviting local businesses, industries, civic/school organizations, churches and individuals to participate in creating an enchanted holiday forest for the 2018 Festival of Trees.
Visiting the Festival of Trees has already become a treasured holiday tradition for many families in the community and surrounding area, with over five hundred visitors in 2016. The Festival of Trees is held at Middlefield Historical Society’s historic Century Inn, located in downtown Middlefield. Admission is free; a donation box and Chinese auction will help to defray expenses and advertising costs. New design Middlefield Historical Society T-shirts will be available for purchase and there will be order forms for bricks for the new brick walkway project. All three levels of the Century Inn will be ablaze with beautiful lights and festive holiday décor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the first two weekends in December, starting Friday, Nov. 30. New this year: Middlefield Historical Society will participate in Merry Middlefield as a GRINCH drop-off location. Bring new toys by Friday, Dec. 7 during the festival open hours listed below.
2018 Festival of Trees will be open to the public on Fridays, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Dec. 1 and 8 and Sundays, Dec. 2 and 9 from noon to 6 p.m. Displays are partially handicapped-accessible. Don’t miss this festive community tradition.
