Middlefield Recreation Department’s Open Gym CMS

3rd & 4th Grades 6-7:30pm Mar. 13, 20, Apr. 3, 10, 17, 24, & May 1
5th & 6th Grades 6-7:30pm Mar. 15, 22, Apr. 5, 12, 19, 26, & May 3

The open gyms are open to boys and girls in grades 3rd-6th on their specified days. We will be playing dodgeball or kickball.  Parents just need to come into the gym to sign the waiver from.  $5 per child at the door each time you come.



Middlefield Recreation Department’s Adult Self-Defense Class

The Middlefield Recreation Department will be running a eight class series of adult
self-defense classes.  Learn easy and effective ways to protect yourself and your family.
Ages: 16+ *16-17 must have parental consent.
When: First class will be April 7 and classes will be every Saturday 1:30-2:30pm to May 26
Where: All classes will be at the Middlefield Senior Center
Price: Resident – $80 Non-Resident – $90

Middlefield Recreation Department’s Adult Dodgeball League

Wednesday evenings at the CMS
$125 per team  8 team maximum
Ages 16+ *16-17 must have parental consent

Gather you and 4 friends and join the Middlefield Recreation Department’s Dodgeball League.  There will be 4 weeks of games and a tournament.  First week of games will be April 11th at the Cardinal Middle School 6pm to 8pm. Register your team  by April 4, 2018 at the Middlefield Recreation Department.

Middlefield Recreation Department FREE FITNESS WALKING CLASS
Come train with the World Famous Couch Potato Fitness Trainer, Jim Sasak.
This is a 13 week class to teach you how to walk for fitness.
If you follow the instructions after the 13 week class you should be able to walk a 5K.
Ages: 16 years to 100 years
Cost: FREE
Location: Village Hall 14860 North State Ave.
Time: Wednesday 2pm  & Saturdays 10am classes are an hour long.
Dates: March 7th – June 2nd (NO class on March 31st)

The Middlefield Recreation Department has partnered with the Geauga Lyric Theater to host a theater program this summer at the Cardinal Middle School. This program gives students ages 8-17 exposure to all elements of theater  including, set construction, costuming, make-up, and choreography that will culminate in a fantastic performance for each age group, Treasure Island (ages 8-12 performed July 19-21) and Annie Jr. (ages 13-17 performed July 26-28) at Cardinal Middle School.
