COPS N’ KIDS FISHING FUN DAY
June 8th 9am to 11am Bob Giardina Lake (formally Mineral Lake) Ages under 18 years old.
Community youngsters, under the age of 18, are invited to bring their fishing pole, bait and tackle boxes for a FREE fun filled morning with the Middlefield Police Department. The morning will wrap up with pizza and prizes. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ages: 3 to 4 years Class: minimum 5 Fee: $30VR/$40NVR Thursdays July 11th –August 8th. Jordak Gym 6pm-7pm
Children will be introduced to sports and other activities for their age. Each day will consist of instructions on techniques, and drills and there will be free play and games. Children will receive a T-shirt.
June 25th Pond Dipping at Bob Giardina Lake.
6pm FREE 50 participant limit. 6 years old and older. Parent must accompany children under 12 years old. Registration for this event starts June 3rd.
School age children will dip nets into a pond to discover the animal life found there from tiny critters to frogs and everything in between. Find out amazing facts about the creatures that call the pond home.
July 29th Nature Scavenger Hunt at Village Hall, 14860 North State Ave.
6pm FREE 50 participant limit. 6 years old and older. Parent must accompany children under 12 years old. Registration for this event starts July 1st.
School age children take a walk along the Maple Highlands trail in search clues and evidence of wildlife along the trail. Learn about the wildlife that lives in our area
$650 per team
Games are played on Friday nights on the lighted field by Cardinal Middle School (16175 Almeda Drive, Middlefield, OH 44062)and at Yoder Brother’s Sports Complex.
10 weeks of games and an end of the season tournament.
Middlefield Recreation Department FITNESS WALKING CLASS
Come train with the World Famous Couch Potato Fitness Trainer, Jim Sasak.
This is a 13-week class to teach you how to walk for fitness. If you follow the instructions, after the 13-week class you should be able to walk a 5K.
Ages: 16 to 100 years
Location: Village Hall 14860 N. State Ave. Middlefield 44062.
Time: Wednesday 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. classes are an hour long.
