Reopening Middlefield Village Facilities and Programs
Reopening Middlefield Village is about protecting those who live, work, shop, and play in our community in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19. The following reopening guidelines and continues closures are in place. Please check back for updates and we begin to reopen Middlefield Village.
Hours of Operation 8am-4pm
Open to the Public starting June 1. Drop box is still identified for items that need to be submitted.
Staff is continuing to work their shifts while practicing social distancing and cleaning.
- INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT – Department will now only accept mailed in or dropped off forms. If an appointment is necessary one will be made with you to review your documents
Garage sale permits are now being issued. Please make sure to review the guidelines set up by the State of Ohio. You can find those guidelines HERE

The Maple Highlands Trail-South (buggy/bike path)
The trail is open to the public along with the walking path around Bob Giardina Lake. It is encouraged that all users practice social distancing and good hygiene.
Baseball Fields and Skate Park
The baseball fields and skate park will be open to the public starting June 1, 2020. Those using the park/field must abide by the posted rules.

Village Park and Recreation Programs
Parks and Recreation Programs are currently closed.
Beginning June 1, 2020 registration is currently open for fall sports, registration fee is not being taken at this time and should be paid by the first practice. Program information can be found HERE.
Recreation Courts and Playgrounds
All Recreation courts and playgrounds will remain closed until they are removed from the continued closure site by the State of Ohio. You can find that list HERE.
This includes all:
- organized group recreation activities not specifically allowed by the order
- basketball courts
- volleyball court
Eagle Park Splash Park
The Village has made the difficult decision to not open the splash park at this time. Should there be a change to the order and conditions on the opening prove to manageable, an abbreviated splash park season could be had.
All Village rentals (community center and pavilions) remain closed to the public until further notice.
