Open Seat on Records Commission for Citizen Appointee – Middlefield Village
The Village of Middlefield is accepting applications from interested residents for the position of Citizen Appointee to the Records Commission. This is a volunteer board position with the Village appointed by the Mayor.
A citizen appointee on a Records Commission is a community volunteer who serves on a local government board to oversee the retention, preservation, and disposal of public records. They collaborate with municipal officials to review disposal schedules, ensuring legal compliance and protecting historical documents. Other board members include, the Mayor, Fiscal Officer and the Solicitor.
