New Websites, New Sign
Middlefield has a new look online and on the street. In the interest of effective communication, Mayor Ben Garlich authorized an update for the Village websites, middlefieldohio.com and middlefieldmeansbusiness.com. Also this month, a new informative, electronic sign will be installed in the small park at the main light in town.
“I’ve always encouraged our residents to be informed and involved,” said Mayor Garlich. “We recently instituted a revamped website and are in the process of installing a new digital sign at the intersection of state and high streets. We hope both of these improvements will assist on more timely and clear communication.”
Following an audit of the existing websites content and features, and the creation of a home page concept in early 2020, the Village retained Codesign LLC of Lakewood, Ohio to design and develop a new mobile-friendly and reorganized website. Existing content, including events, meetings and posts, are easier to find and navigate via context-specific sidebar menus and a space-saving primary menu.
These communication tools will serve to enhance the information pathways for Middlefield residents.
